Perfectionism can paralyze creativity. This week, I confronted mine head-on with scissors, scraps, and my journal. I used junk journaling for creativity and to help let go of perfectionism.
about
A creative space for real life.
Buen Ojo is a space for slowing down, making with heart, and finding beauty in imperfection.
It’s where creative mess meets meaningful living. Part studio, part sanctuary.
We believe in small rituals, handmade things, and the kind of creativity that makes you feel more like yourself.
Hey, I’m Haley
I’m a dreamer and a maker who started Buen Ojo to reconnect with what matters: honest creativity, conscious living, and making meaning in a world that moves too fast.
I’ve worked in digital marketing for over a decade, but this? This is personal. It’s a rebellion against burnout and a love letter to thoughtful creatives like you. I live between places, collect notebooks like a magpie, and believe the best ideas start with a spark and a mess.
I started Buen Ojo because I wanted a creative life that didn’t require constant output or chasing algorithms. I was tired of making things that didn’t feel like me. This space is my attempt to slow down, make with intention, and share the kind of creative rituals that have helped me come home to myself.
Most days, you’ll find me trying to figure out a new craft, trying to wrangle too many ideas, or hunting moments of beauty. Buen Ojo is where all of that comes together. Part experiment, part offering. If something here resonates, I hope you’ll stay a while.
